01. When the user almost reach the time limit, send an e-mail to the user.
02. The option to add the company logo and some other data.
03. The option to translate the user front-end (for checking time, volume balance, ect).
04. If it´s posible to show a pop-up when the user logs in (via pppoe).
05. Option to block an user and to show a billing page (customized) when the user logs in.
06. An option to create packages based on time periods (half day, night) so the user could only use his 50 hours only by the night or by the day, ect.
07. Diferent access groups, so an employee can only add o view some items of the radius.
08. On user parameters, option to add a dynamic chain on MT firewall, or an option to add diferent kinds of services (http, all, pop3 smtp, ect).
09. Reports by total daily traffic, user daily traffic.
10. Reports of total payments by user.
11. In user front-end, option to change the password, request more time-data.
12. In user, option to set his MAC address.

I have a suggestion... A US based server so it doesn't take 5 minutes for the page to load when trying to enter in data!

that project has been replaced by the user manager.
http://userman.mt.lv/userman

this will be a package on routeros and has more features than the old hotspot manager

- option to set hostname for user to produce DNS entry when he gets IP to allow user to be accessibel not just by an IP but memonic address

- options to add custom fields for users

- option to access user database from outside, to allow using it for custom applications

- option to add user's IP to specific Address list

- option to create simple queue (even if usermanager is used just to set ip address to user) and set all properties of simple queue

Say 256K up and down untill they reach total data of 1gb for that month cycle, then either disconnect them or slow them to a lesser throttled speed say 64k up and down. Email notification would also be good

You can login and the left hand frame (with the menu) loads but the right hand frame never loads. Clicking any of the buttons (except logout) has no effect.

we've got a few macs now, we identified the problem, and probably will fix it.

Are they Intel macs? Can you confirm whether WinBox and the dude works under WINE? (I seem to remember it being mentioned that they work but are slow and slightly buggy?)
We are going to be deploying all internal workstations as iMacs and it will be a PIA if we have to reboot to use WINE/The Dude.
Any chance of a native version by linking against WINElib?

i did try it USERman, and done create user and login hospot with radius and backup it, if do restore [reload] with that backup file all config at USERMAN is gone, on above description for me RED COLOR priority or i did mistake...bla..bal..bla..............

winbox works and dude kinda works too. this is on an intel mac, in the darwine enviroment, as described on our wiki. you also have the possibility to use Parallels.
