First i would like to say i'm completely new to this.
I have a basic linksys router on a 10.0.0.0 network handling DHCP at my hunting camp. i bought a routerboard 433 with 2 R52Hn PCI cards.
I want to broad cast duel ssid. one secure for security cams and game cameras and one open for quest hunters.
I have set the country code and set my ssid's and security. through winbox i have right clicked wlan 4 and enabled wireless. I have the wlan4 and wlan5 set to station mode (which i dont know is right or not for what im doing). problem is on my laptop i see no wireless being braodcasted. i have tried manually configuring my computer with the ssid and still get nothing. Im not sure at all what im doing wrong. i have gone through the wiki and still cant find the issue.

I planned on pointing 192.168.88.1 to 10.0.0.1 in the linksys router or changing the 192.168.88.1 to 10.0.0.3 in the mikrotik. im not sure which is better.

I have the wlan4 and wlan5 set to station mode

If your intention is that the Mikrotik will broadcast like a normal AP, then you need to change the wlan cards to AP mode, not station. There will likely be more to change, but this is your first and biggest change so that you can start to see the signal on your laptop.

So i changed it to AP-Bridged since that was the only ap option i had. now i can see the ssid. from here im hoping i can get the rest. Ill know tommorow when i get to the hunting camp.

So i installed the routerboard. getting connecetd to wifi and surfing the web works just fine. but every time i try to connect my wireless y-cam knight to the wireless i get nothing. the y-cam will connect just fine to my friends wifi (which he's using a simple wireless linksys router). any ideas. am i missing a setup in the routerboard?
