SXT-5D bridge, ET port disbaled Help

Sun Dec 04, 2011 1:30 pm

On an existing link (bridged) the AP EThernet has accidently been disabled. When trying to connect throughthe Client Bridge that is still connected on WLAN, using WindBox and MAC address it has found, I get an error "Could not connect to (port 20561) - timed out!

Any suggestion except for climbing in the 36m tower:(...?

Thanks, Kor

Try to connect via IP address or you can use mac telnet in client (if it is Mikrotik too). You may using windows 7 or the network is not fully transparent that not allowed you to connect via mac address.

If a mac telnet session from client to AP is not successfull while the unit is associated, try to lower or higher the last letter/figure in mac for the mac-telnet session.
Sometimes the shown mac is not the real mac or viceversa.... (bridge or other virtual interfaces?)
