link 2 RB1200's together

Fri Nov 04, 2011 2:44 pm

Hi all,

I've been trying to do this and not successful, here are the details:

RB1 has port1 with 1.1.1.1
RB1 has port2 connected to RB2 port1

RB2 has port1 1.1.1.2

PC connected to RB1 port1 with 1.1.1.3

I need to be able to access RB2 via RB1 using the link between the 2 RB's

How can I do this?

BTW, both RB's are running 5.8

you are using the same subnet, so you need to change them or create a bridge on RB1 and add port 1&2 to this bridge

Specific answers require specific questions. When in doubt, post the output of "/ip address print detail", "/ip route print detail", "/interface print detail", "/ip firewall export", and an accurate network diagram.
