how can i change "Starts: now" option in profile menu. my problem is when i add new user and assign it specified profile. user profile will be activated just after adding user Not after "Users first login".

oh no no, why userman v.5.2 still same with older release, still can't setting voucher start counting from 'first login' then 'now'.
im try create user and generate the voucher, time left total will decrease if i click the title sorting time left total, decrease until 'unlimited', im very like v.5x we can print the voucher with small size, breaking the voucher to more than 3 voucher per page, its very cleaver, because will shrink the paper using.
please answer this question to make clear, we can't live without Mikrotik userman..

Well, I guess you are talking about how to idenitfy newly generated batch users, if so, use a unique username prefix to identify the batch

we will try to make this function, and then we will return it to user manager.

currently there is NO such version where "first login" option works! there is NO need to downgrade.

很高兴听到th吗at, profile start will return it to usermanager like on v.4.17. at least i hope when i create voucher the total time left not self decreased and the voucher validity will count from the first logon/start-at, or maybe we have another choice than that.

And presently I am using it on version 5.2
All U have to do in version 5.2 is to create the profile in userman and then go to the console and change the "start-at" option for that profile to "logon" then create users with that profile. ( I bet U it works)

hello beepe, i knew it will work, but im not confortable with that, im usualy create much of voucher generate and then printing on papers, please think, if i generate hundred of voucher, how i can change from console, do you have idea? your example above show me you change just one user, its easy but crazy on alot of users generate voucher, now please tell me, this not happen on version 4.17 right?

Note the sequence of what I did
First, create profile in userman
Secondly, set the start-at time for the created profile from console. Once this is done, any user created with this profile will start at logon.
Thirdly, create batch users ( choosing the profile U just created) and print as U deisire, all the created users will start-at logon.

Pls note that the start-at option is a profile option and not users option and as such U dont need to set it for every user.
I also do the same here and I just created over 400 batch users that activate at logon.

note, three first row the user i created with adding command to "start-at=logon", three is showing start time "not set" but it working.
and then three after that i not set start-at on different profile and the total time left will decreased self even user not logon, because of start-at at default is "now", or in my perception is after we create the voucher the user start will start counting, in my test on a day remaining time left total will unlimited whereas user not logon.

available option on start-at is, now, month, and logon. maybe any one other have try this?
