Subnet Dividing

Hello all,

I have a public subnet x.x.x.x/28 from my isp and i i have RB1000 what i want is to divide the sub net x.x.x.x/28 and get multiple subnet x.x.x.x/30 from other RB1000 interfaces other than ether1 .

Can you please explain for me how can i do this plz

192.0.2.0/30
192.0.2.4/30
192.0.2.8/30
192.0.2.12/30

That's all you'll get subnetting into multiple /30s.

Hi,

I did this before and i need hot to do that in the mikrotik because i did put 192.0.2.1/30 on ether1 and 192.0.2.5/30 on ether2 i attached my pc to the ether2 and i put 192.0.2.6 and GW is 192.0.2.5 but when i ping the 192.0.2.1 no reply.

请我需要你to tell how to do that in mikrotik

In order to get it to work the way I am reading it, you are likely going to have to play around with Proxy-ARP. It's an ugly hack and you need to make sure it won't mess anything up on your ISP from implementing it before you try it.

If you can contact your ISP and see if they would be willing to route that subnet to you by a /30 it would be much easier on you and a cleaner setup.
