Hello,
I am having a weird packet loss issue that I can't figure out. I have an access point that is setup as follows:
My Servers/Network -----> Ubiquiti Bridge (AP) -----> Ubiquiti Bridge (Client) ----> RB450 (As Switch) -----> Ubiquiti AP
Every morning for the past week, I have woken up to 70 to 80% packet loss to the RB450. At the same time I do not have packet loss to either of the Ubiquiti Bridges. Pinging through the RB450 to the AP also has the same packet loss as when I ping the RB450 its self. When I have been able to login to the RB450 and reboot it, things start getting better. For good measure I have been rebooting the Bridges and the AP after I reboot the RB450. After I complete this process, it will run fine all day long until tomorrow morning when it goes to junk again.
I do have a pretty big bridged network on the "My Servers/Network" side of it. Is it possible that the RB450 is getting it's mac-table full and then crashing it?
The RB450 is from factory mode (Default configuration script was ran) but I have turned off DHCP and I am not using Port 1 for WAN. Rather just using the bridged ports. I looked through the default configs and couldn't see anything that would cause grief. I could be wrong and for good measure I am going to factory reset and reprogram it today.
Let me know if you have any ideas.
Thanks,
-z
