I will explain what speed: when we are connecting to the pppoe server, after the connection proceed, in down right corner appears a sign that connection is connected with speed: ... usually there we have a speed of connection from medium ( like if this is ethernet 100mb/s , then the speed is 100mb/s, if it's wlan g 54 mb/s then it's 54 mb/s ).
