Simple Queues + pppoe, and very interesting situation

Thu Jul 24, 2008 1:08 pm

Hi

I'm not to advanced mikrotik user but, before it i've used linux for firewalling, queueing etc. but, now, my problem. I have mikrotik level 4 licence, upgraded to the newest version, i have two pppoe services, one is on wlan ( 5ghz ) and one is on lan, everything with pppoe works fine, authentication etc. the problem begins with queues. At first after creating connection on 5ghz I've made static pppoe interfaces, and added it to simple queues, at first few users everything worked just fine, but next i've added one user on lan, still everything works fine, but when I added second user at lan, I didn't saw any traffic on simple queue ( on download rate, upload rate and the queued bytes column), but still I saw it at old users. Next I removed the first user on lan ( just too check what is going on ), when I readded that users, I didn't had anything In the rate column too. Next I tried to add users via service1 ( 5ghz wlan ) same situation, no data about the rate or queue. I've tried to add Target Address, remove max limit, set other values on "Change TCP MSS" on profile, searching the differences between users account ( working vs not working ), and nothing, still the same. I've found information that I have to chech option in bridge toa of firewall ip, but I can't find it. I have legal mikrotik, level 4, 2.9.51 version ( I think that is the newest ). What can I do ?

Best Wishes

So...

profiles on pppoe

0 * name="default" use-compression=default use-vj-compression=default use-encryption=default only-one=default change-tcp-mss=yes

1 name="profil" use-compression=default use-vj-compression=default use-encryption=default only-one=default change-tcp-mss=no

2 * name="default-encryption" use-compression=default use-vj-compression=default use-encryption=default only-one=default change-tcp-mss=default
rate-limit=""

queue

the one that doesn't work

58 name="ksiegowosc_parafia@netpro-2.eu" dst-address=0.0.0.0/0 interface=ksiegowosc_parafia@netpro-2.euparent=wlan_glowna_pawlow direction=both
priority=7 queue=wireless-default/wireless-default limit-at=32000/100000 max-limit=128000/512000 total-queue=default-small

and the one that still works

2 name="something_else" dst-address=0.0.0.0/0 interface=iwan.kaja_pppoe parent=wlan_glowna direction=both priority=7
queue=wireless-default/wireless-default limit-at=32000/100000 max-limit=128000/512000 total-queue=default-small

and the main queue

1 name="wlan_glowna" dst-address=0.0.0.0/0 interface=all parent=none direction=both priority=6 queue=default-small/default-small limit-at=256000/200000>
max-limit=320000/3000000 total-queue=default-small

any ideas?
