For some reason we can't get the AR5211 mini-pci cards to work in the RB433AH. However these cards work fine in RB500s and x86 mobos. In the RB411 documentation, it says support for these cards is no longer. Can anyone clarify if that relates to the RB433 also and maybe why?

yes, it relates to all RB4XX series.

It's related to hardware design, can't be fixed. It's an old chipset, you will be better off using something newer.

Just about the only thing I'd want a 5211 for is extended frequency support.

I wish someone out there would publish a comprehensive FAQ on which cards support which frequencies, and what bugs one is likely to run into using outside of normal 2.4/5.8GHz frequencies using Mikrotik.
