Yes it should be Older Brother or Smaller brother as to me in Latvian English they were thinking "little brother". Which just goes to show they need to not only hire BPWL for improved WIFI but me for at least reviewing all their document outputs (and video productions). :-)Opened link in a new window, tried multiple times and got the pdf eventually. CCR2116 seems nice (I think Eva had a slip as she mentioned a "younger brother" - she probably meant "older brother"). might even order it.. but... 2k21 is coming to an end and no reasonably priced 2.5G and/or 5G solutions from mikrotik on the horizon.
The netfiber 9, is an indoor switch well suited for the indoor heavy coffee drinking and boozing crowd, coffee resistant etc.........I like the netFiber 9, will there be a desktop version of it as well? There is currently no comparable desktop or rack mount switch available.
CRS212-1G-10S-1S+IN have just one SFP+ and CRS328-4C-20S-4S+RM is far more expensive.
If indoor version of netFiber 9 without all the outdoor mounting ended up at $200 it would be a great optical switch for the price!
CCR2116 is based on the CPU from the same family, so will likely be suffering from the same problems until they are fixed for CCR2004 also.wow a new high power CCR with 12 gigabit ports insetad of 12 sfp+ 10 gigabit ports..... nosense
Mikrotik missing of fiber datacenter router (CCR2004 is not stable and has a lot problems with packets loss)
fully agreeToo bad they wasted front space and switch chips for 12 RJ45 ports. If I needed RJ45, I'd put RJ45-SFP modules in.
这正是这一点,谢谢。这就是the CPU comes in and ports don't matter so muchPeople seems obsessed with physical throughput. Most people run firewall, nat, tunnels and different things in the same box, then the physical bottlenecks most lilkey becomes a parentheses in the overall solution.
Duly tested.Test
I would like to buy it ASAP as it seems to be fanless. Is it available? In the video there is a non-full-width CCR2004. Are there any specs or for this yet?
