In my company's CRS212-1G-10S-1S+PC I have inserted two Mikrotik S-RJ01 RJ-45 Ethernet 10/100/1000 SFP Modules.
In both cases:
The SFP tab for each interface begins promisingly enough with a little check-mark against 'Module Present'.
Less promisingly however, the following 'Connector Type' field reports 'LC' rather than 'RJ-45'.
Mikrotik's own RJ-45 SFP Modulesare several times the price of their non-branded counterparts; I considered the extra expenditure worthwhile to avoid chasing time-wasting, never-ever-will-work incompatibilities which make me cry.
So now I've laid down the big bucks for the 'genuine article' S-RJ01's, what's the story with their connectors being identified as Lucent?
