Hi

We need srfc2661/rfc3931 support for the L2TPv3 Client in MikroTik (Support for a shared secret)
This would allow us to get a static IP from our ISP`s. Currently we have to buy different Routers (Billion and Zyxel) to support this.
When can we expect this functionality from MikroTik ?

This functionality has now been requested for years... I heard that Mikrotik only thinks 2 people have asked for this and that is so far from the truth from what my searches have revealed...

some providers tend to use "very weird", substandard things in endpoint/last mile.
like say one of French providers(not smallest one, btw), some Algrerian ISP and some companies in Pacific and Centeral America.
just like historically in Ruissa it was ~ same few years ago, when nearly 90% ISP used heavy things like PPTP or L2TP there(switching to ipoe or ppoe do helped to lot of their customers in last years, apparently).
