Re: v6.46.4 [stable] is released!

Updated: Fixed my issue by selecing Server as agent , Hope this helps
It's not really a fix though, because you aren't distributing the check to the dude agent.

Re: v6.46.4 [stable] is released!

The error "std failure: not allowed (9)" occurs when using dude agents. If the asset is changed to the default agent it appears to work. All MikroTik devices are upgraded to 6.46.4.

Re: DHCP Relay over IPIP

Try @petchi's suggestion: "But you can use some dummy interface probably even a bridge with no member ports, with an ADMIN MAC on it (dummy value)." That was unsuccessful as well. I've gone ahead and switched to an EOIP tunnel and placed the DHCP server directly on the interface and it's ...

Re: DHCP Relay over IPIP

I have not done DHCP relay in a very, very long time, last time was back in year 2000 and then used Cisco / Microsoft DHCP, I rather config a DHCP server locally then people not affected when tunnel, etc goes down, but assume it could work with something like this. @petchi and @sindy, if I am wrong...

Re: DHCP Relay over IPIP

That was my starting point, and my only deviation from the plan was that I can’t put the DHCP server on the IPIP interface.

DHCP Relay over IPIP

I’ve been successfully using the DHCP relay on RouterOS for years over an IPIP tunnel between sites. During this time the DHCP server was a Windows server and it has worked without issue. I am decommissioning that server and want to move that functionality to the core Mikrotik router. To do this I s...

Add ARP table entries to the log

I'd like to add the MAC address, IP address, and interface to a log entry as they are added to the ARP table. What is the best way to do this? Thanks.

Wireless Wire (RBwAPG-60ad) minimum distance

Re: hEX POE and IP camera

If I understand the Mode B standard, pins 4 5 and 7 8 carry power. If I connect wires 4 and 5 to the positive terminal and 7 and 8 to the negative terminal on the device would that supply it with 48v DC?

hEX POE and IP camera

I have a hEX POE that I am attempting to power a Doorbird IP camera with. The hEX POE operates in POE mode B but the Doorbird ( https://www.doorbird.com/poe ) only supports Mode A and only uses 2 wire pairs to connect. Can I just create a crossover cable to power the device or will I need to get a s...

hAP AC powered by hEX POE

Will the hEX POE power a hAP AC with POE when the hEX POE is powered with a 48V power supply? I understand that the hAP AC is a passive POE in device and I've seen some mentions of crossover cables on this forum.

Also, will the hEX POE power an 802.3af compliant camera (with the 48V power supply)?

交替广域网端口

I recently purchased the hAP AC Lite and am using it as a travel router. Depending upon my connection options sometimes Ether1 is my WAN port and sometimes wlan1 is my WAN port. This requires a manual change to the routing and NAT settings. Is there a way to set this up so whichever WAN interface pu...
