48 v2a96w温度范围?

I want to use the 48V2A96W to supply power to a PowerBox PRO in an enclosed, outdoor cabinet. The box is well sealed against the weather. Annual temperature range would be about -5C to +42C. There's enough powered equipment in the box to keep things above freezing in most cases. I can't find any tem...

Re: Dual band AP for home use, SSID same or different?

Not that it matters greatly, but I think Comcast in the US uses two SSID's. I don't use Comcast, but I can see my neighbor's two SSID's show up. I think it would make troubleshooting simpler to use two SSIDs. I've had problems with some Macs grabbing the 5ghz signal even though it was the weaker of ...

Re: Manual Improvements

Convert it back into a WIKI so people can add/fix things. A lot of the pages need better explanations, and more examples. +1 on this. Leverage the vast experience of your user base to help keep your docs fresh. Also: 1. Lots of examples. 2. A series of simple how-to's on setting up various configur...

Re: RB2011: How to Bridge fastE & gigE ports with VLANs?

Thanks for the suggestion.

Yes -- I am trying to bridge by CPU, but just couldn't figure out the right sequence/commands that would bridge a trunk port from switch1 to switch2.

It seems that using the switch chip makes it difficult to bridge both sides when using VLANs.

RB2011: How to Bridge fastE & gigE ports with VLANs?

I have an RB2011UiAS running 6.20 RouterOS and current firmware. I am unable to bridge the gigE and fastE ports if I use the switch chip and activate VLANs. How can I allow port 7 (and other switch2 ports) to have access to the VLANS from the trunk port (port 5)? Thanks for any suggestions. Here's m...

Re: Public ip access control

Great suggestion. Does anyone know of a script available that would populate the "available from" field with an ip address fetched from dyndns or similar service? I have several remote Mikrotik boxes that I maintain from a router that has a dynamic IP address. It would be great if I could ...

+1

我需要购买~ 40小交换机/路由器year to replace ancient dumb switches. PacketFence support would definitely put Mikrotik devices in the lead. Evaluating multiple brands now.

Re: Mikrotik RB 1100AHx2 and ROS 6.XX support.

6.7 for my 4 gateways are ultra-stable, and all part of routeros I use, it work as expected.
I guess I lucked out -- that's what I'm running on my 1100AHx2's.

I was looking at upgrading to a newer version soon, though. Is there a fix expected in 6.16?

I am running a PPP link for VPN access.

Re: Why does this VLAN configuration work? It shouldn't!

I am not clear about the reference to Ether 1 since it didn't seem to be slaved elsewhere in the config. Sorry. My Ether1 reference was a mistake. You can ignore that. If I change the VLAN Header to "leave-as-is" for the Ether3 access port, it will stop routing Vlan1 traffic. This happens...

Re: Why does this VLAN configuration work? It shouldn't!

Yes. That's exactly what's happening with this setup. Ether1-3 are passing untagged traffic successfully for Vlan1 and sending it out the trunk. Ether4 is passing untagged traffic successfully for Vlan4 and sending it out the trunk. If I enable Vlan Mode=Secure, VLAN Header=always strip, Vlan ID=1 f...

Re: Why does this VLAN configuration work? It shouldn't!

Here's the complete config. Using latest 6.12 release and firmware. I haven't tried 6.13 RC. Model is RB2011UiAS. I am bridging the gigE and fastE chips, but I had the same problem even when the fastE was not used or disabled. I set up 192.168.1.99 as the management address when plugged into the swi...

Re: Why does this VLAN configuration work? It shouldn't!

Could you try swapping the port usage as follows: Use Ether 2 as your trunk to the HP Procurve. Use Ether 5 as the VLAN 1 access port. Is the behaviour more in line with expectations then? Thank you for your suggestions. I just tried that. Same results. I did find this forum posting (see bottom) th...

Re: Why does this VLAN configuration work? It shouldn't!

Are you 100% sure that the HP has VLAN1 tagged? Does it have a native VLAN set? If you create a VLAN1 interface on the interface seen by the CPU does torch see traffic? Does it see traffic on the basic physical interface? On the Procurve: I am 100% certain the HP has VLAN1 tagged. Checked it many t...

Why does this VLAN configuration work? It shouldn't!

The switch chip is giving me fits. I've read lots of material on how to make it work, and I've been 99% successful. However, there seems to be something odd with the way it handles traffic when VLAN ID=1. See my configuration below. It is successfully passing VLAN ID=1 traffic on ether2 as an access...

Suggested URL reporting solution?

I am looking for a way to create a report to show web surfing history for individual users from the Webproxy logs. I've read the older posts on this subject, and know about the webproxy log catcher on Google code here: https://code.google.com/p/webproxy-log/ Development on the above code has stopped...

Re: Mikrotik + VoIP

I just set up a VoIP server with Mikrotik. Offhand, I'd say you need to drop the SIP helper. It generally does more harm than good: /ip firewall service-port disable sip You will need to configure your VoIP server/phone to play well with NAT. There should be tech docs with your device to describe se...

My brand new CCR1036-8G-2S+EM arrived today and upgraded from v6.1 to v6.7. Now fans are still spinning up and down, up and down continuously. The fans control mode is set to automatic. Is this normal ? I am new to the Mikrotik game, so can't say if this is normal. However, I did notice something s...

Re: RouterOS v6.6 released

Did you know that RouterOS only supports APC UPS with the Smart protocol? FYI -- I have had good luck with Cyberpower UPS's (http://www.cyberpowersystems.com) -- they emulate APC Smart protocol and are less expensive. I have yet to use them with Mikrotik, but have had success on other Linux systems...
