Re: RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN Questions Topic

This is the last time I will reply to you in this topic before asking Mikrotik to ban you from THIS topic. *I* am the one who started this topic because I was one of the first people in the world to get a hold of the RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN. It's meant to be informative and for people to ask questions re...

Normis, your answer about it on support forum, only answer on forum, why this information not describe in technical documentation ??? why mikrotik hide this information from buyer ?! its secret -...

Re: RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN Questions Topic

This is why we don't specify NAND size - we ship devices with enough NAND for RouterOS. For things that require more storage, you can use external drives (USB. microSD). and why (don't specify NAND size) ??? i don't understand ! for each device must be technical specification where must be describe...

Re: RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN Questions Topic

Neohunter - you are not receiving LESS, you are receiving MORE. If you always assume it will be 64, what problems can 128 cause you? i don't know, i receive LESS or MORE, because size of flash memory not described on official page (where i can see official public document where it described for thi...

Re: RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN Questions Topic

It must have 64MB NAND. If for some reason we run out of 64MB chips, we could use bigger ones. Treat this as a surprise gift. thanks for answer Normis, but its not normal situation in page http://routerboard.com/RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN not described - how many flash installed and for some buyers come 128...

Re: RB2011 Announcement ?

yes, you will be able to use the USB port also for storage or 3G modems.
Hm good news !!!
But in this case need a converter to a regular usb, that would not be very nice (the extra wires) ;(
why do not use standard usb, like in RB751G-2HnD

Re: RB2011 Announcement ?

There are some plans to connect the router directly to a PC as a portable router, and to use USB port for configuration (like a serial). Most people have this cable, because nearly all modern phones use it, so it's convenient to have this type of connector. New EU law also states that all phones mu...
