I hope to be wrong but It can't be solved due of missing of cache in the switch chip, same problem of CCR2004Has the issue been fixed yet?
I have 40 max 50 days uptime before reboot it's early to call for a victorybut I hope you are true22 Days Uptime on private beta build which includes fixes for ccr2004.
This is maximum uptime for me.
I think they fixed issue.
These changes will be added to next rc release.
Same ros version and similar config i have reboot around every 50/60 daysRunning 6.48.4 RouterOS and firmware on all three units, no reboots yet since each was installed... but definitely watching for a reboot to occur.

谢谢你,我希望more positive reportsNo, still weekly reboots on ccr2004 with stable v7.1.1Other users reports that problem is solved with ros 7.1.x?
thank you
fully agreeToo bad they wasted front space and switch chips for 12 RJ45 ports. If I needed RJ45, I'd put RJ45-SFP modules in.
forgot itMikrotik, how about money back?? No resolution - no customer.
I dont need this trash anymore.
卡里莫夫你读过这个线程吗?没有解决reboots problem whatever ros version used with or without tricksWhat RouterOS version do you use? Have you tried to set proposed enhancement in previous posts?
Have you tried this setting?尝试6.49 -没有运气,重启后8天。
+1Dear MT team
Are you going to make POE out in RB5009UG+S+IN router 7x GE?
This is due low gain antenna? WHich is the difference from LHG60?w60g - limit power output when using region EU to match EN302567 on nRAY;
6.48.2On which version ?
forgot itIn this case MT should recall this product imediatly, until upgrade of this model is made.
Or do they keep on selling fault hardware and don't care about this? Mikrotik, what is your position???
ccr2004 crashes evertime bad HWcapsman crashes immediately on ccr2004
I agree but we have 4 of these in production and it's a disaster long watchdog reboots every weeks, we move back to old CCR1016 for non 10 gbits link for 10 gibt routed link we are looking for a solutionsWhat's the alternative? The equivalent Cisco would cost 100 times as much.
Antonsb it works well.... what we are missing?this will be available on new 802.11ay hardware.
Unfortunately this cannot be used reliably on our existing 802.11ad devices - that is why this frequency support is removed
thank youMost has been fixed in last RC but still some left. MT says they are improving it still but the fix itself is well tested.Anyone has good news? :-)
/M
So ROS 6.49.22 version solve the packet loss problem?10 minutes on 6.49beta22 so far, no issues to report. This device only has 10G links in the SFP+ ports, though, so your mileage may vary with SFP or SFP28.
Maznu let know us if it works thx GiuseppeWe've had the same, and will be deploying it on pre-production routers tonight.
+1Im reading in the changelog of 6.48 and im not sure why it states arm and arm64 stability since these were already in 6.47.8. Does anyone know if they fixed even more stuff?
We have three of these in production no bgp just OSPF routing and vlan, we still seeing random reboots every X days....Still seeing reboots. Max uptime so far on 6.47.8 is 8 days
For us deploy fiber fiber is cheaper than TerrahraphI'm doing the same math here. What kind of population density do you need to make a $2k AP every block make sense.
I hope mikrotik has a better plan up their sleeve than what these other companies are doing.
Ros version?I also have this router and all is looking normal, dont have any drop packets . I also use 10Gbit sfp+ modules from Finisar.
Sergejs do you know that direct attach cables is not usable in CCR2004 due to the packet loss problem caused by hw port extender?Read our latest newsletter and learn more about:
• New direct attach cables
it not workIf I was you I would give shaping just below 1Gbps a shot and see if you still get the packet loss.
I don't use 1G Ethernet modules in productions so I don't have too much skin in the game, goodluck.
:-)mu-mimo and spectral scan finally included in 5 ghz!
+1I wonder if Mikrotik actually intends to make any of these during 2020? Am starting to have my doubts!
forgot itNo news about spectral scan o mu-mimo?
Unfortunately the 5 Ghz backup of the AF is something less of a nanobeam put in the head of the disk and not in the focus (12db gain) .... so it 'll be usable only in short range[When the Airfiber is available and it will work like it is announced, we don't need Mikrotik.......
Normis we have no time to lose hoping in a miracle. We have to stay on the market and we need to take important decision for the future of our company (fiber telco grows quickly) so if you have any announcement to do please don't wait more.Never lose hope for anything.
+1any hw news ?
The main question what and whenComing
Mostly it's rain backup... OK I 'll wait for ubiquitiDoing backhaul + backup with one Antenna in one direction is not a good idea anyway.
