Sorry Mikrotik, but I see no use for this.

You have wasted time that you could have spent on fixing problems with existing gear :(

在正常操作中不合理的管理twork you do not need SLAAC on a router. No, but one might want to accept RA on management interface of an AP (but not the rest of interfaces). Since in MT world proper DHCPv6 doesn't exist ... And no, it's not possible to educate ISPs (most of them...

hAP-ac3, after upgrade to 7.2 only 2.4 GHz wifi is announced, 5 GHz is not visible although WiFi interface is present and enabled.

Anyone else facing same issue?

EDIT: got up after almost 10 minutes of waiting.

Re: WinBox v3.35 released!

This is the same as telling Windows users to do a complete reinstall of the OS just because they cannot change backgroud picture. "Do a netinstall" if you encounter any issue with ROS is a common first suggestion. Yes, but you first save config (export as text preferably). And, of course,...

Re: Wireguard use Hostname in endpoint

As much as I don't like that, but this behavior seems to be consistent with the way Wireguard works on other platforms and probably won't be "fixed" ever. If IP on one end changes, WG automagically communicates with new IP as soon as one packet arrives from it. So if you DDNS endpoint chan...

How are IP cloud names handled as wireguard endpoints? Are they like Firewall addresses that are resolved (dynamically) and checked/updated every xx seconds?? It seems to me that names are resolved (or just tried) only once. If there is no answer from DNS (for example on boot-up, Wireguard is start...

For now, you can have 8 NICs per VM, soon to be...

I have asked this on MUM in Budapest: I would like to see something like triggers when an interface state changes, so router can run a script (like ip-up/ip-down on "real" Linuxes). That way router would not have to schedule script to check every minute if something has changed, especially...
