Ok thanks. So at least I know I'm not completely crazy  now offcourse my problem is that the AP is in use so can't remove it and don't have a replacement at the moment...oops. Incidently, the noisefloor on the backhaul is -101, but I don't know if it's only this good because it's a flatpanel or...

distance

Hi, I didn't get much response in my other thread so I'll try to reprhase :D How much distance are you supposed to get in reallife on a 7.4dbi omni with the RB/019 integrated AP/backhaul unit (atheros AR5213 card). And using 19dbi flatpanels as the CPE, with direct line-of-sight? I currently get les...

how to reset 2019?

Hi, I made a msitake with the IP adresses on the ethernet port of a 2019 unit (19dbi flat-panelwith integrated rb), and now I can not connect to it to reconfigure it. It does not respond to the little switch sitting next to the ethernet-port. I've tried holding it in for more than 10 secs and also t...

noisefloor

Just measured the noise-floor on this omni, and it is anywhere from -69 to -81 db depending on the frequency in the 2.4ghz range. Is this normal? does this mean that if I choose a frequency where the noisefloor is -81 then I can only connect to it if the signal is above this? why am I only getting a...

poor performance on omni / interference?

Hi, We have just installed our first wireless AP with the OM19 integrated AP and backhaul using 2.4ghz. The omni is 7.4dbi and the backhaul 19dbi flatpanel. The AP is on a high building and there is very little 2.4ghz traffic in this city (a scan on freq usage reveals very little traffic on all 2.4g...

holes

Hi,

Holes are fine, except they should be put in a location or designed in such a way that water does not enter the unit when the antenna is pointing downwards.....

RB/OM19

Hi, I have just bought the RB/OM19 hotspot and it also has 3 holes near the bottom. I'm a bit worried about rain because this panel is pointing *downwards* (it is on a tall building and the backhaul is down to groundlevel on a building next door). Here (Africa) we have serious rain and I can only im...
