Re: DHCP not working when Interface of a bridge goes down

Got the exact same problem on a Routerboard 1100AHx4. Afaik thats the same Hardware as the RB4011 (minus the sfp+ port).
Edit: I noticed this Issue on 7.9. Upgrading to 7.9.3 did not help. Downgrading to 7.7 seems to fix it.
Edit2: seems to be fixed in 7.10rc3

Re: Newsletter 101

Too funny, if you want to fit the 5009 on a full rack you have to buy three more units. :-) According to official mock-up it's enough to have only two ... ugliness of mounting kit is in line with RB5009 itself: https://i.mt.lv/cdn/rb_images/2071_l.jpg Probably one shouldn't push that reset button t...

Re: v7.1beta6 [development] is released!

MLAG works with jumbo frames, but make sure to use the same L2MTU settings on both peers.
We are researching the ways to make MLAG compatible with 802.1BR, L3HW and MSTP.
Nice! You guys are f***ing awesome!

Re: v7.1beta4 [development] is released!

Anyone also notice the size of the wave module is 1/2 the size? Sadly still too big.. I have 2 WAP R ac s, they report having 256MB of RAM and an IPQ4019 WIFI interface ( which doesn't conform to the specifications from the mikrotik website?! ) but only 16 MB of storage :( The Package includes 6 di...

Re: Is RouterOS and (routing in general) still faster on routers than on dedicated computer ?[SOLVED]

你不应该混合交换和路由。路由is mostly done with CPUs so a PC with a fast CPU will be better than a small arm or tilera CPU on a routerboard. Switching on the other hand can be done with cheap switching chips and it is a waste to spend CPU ressources on it.

Re: ASN Blocking

Of course it's possible. You just need to get an ASN, and IP Blocks. IPv6 is cheap, a /24 IPv4 block can be leased starting at 100$/Month or bought around 10k$.

Portextender / 802.1br

Hi! I got two questions about the new portextender feature: 1. Is it possible to create a LAG over 2 PEs? i.e. have one port on CRS326 number one and one port on CRS326 number two and create the bond on the CB on a CRS317? 2. Will 802.1br work with L3 hardware acceleration? If anyone tested this I w...
