Re: ZeroTier -- Not connecting / No peers

@wildbill442, just a couple of suggestions: - if your router is the default gateway and is working, configure zt to use any interface. Make sure outbound traffic is not filtered. - If you're behind nat/cg-nat, expose (is dst-nat) the zt instance port to avoid possible forwarding though external ser...

Re: ZeroTier -- Not connecting / No peers

Zerotier isn't forming the adjacencies via the peer to peer network.. There are no paths shown in the /zerotier/peer/pr tables. I'd suspect it's also not resolving DNS for my.zerotier.com because I can't speficy the src-address.

Re: ZeroTier -- Not connecting / No peers

The interface set on the zerotier instance (zt1) controls where it will look for paths. I suspect the problem is the lo0 isn't getting NAT'ed when zerotier tries to communicate the my.zerotier.com controller. Any reason you're using a loopback interface, instead of a WAN interface? Otherwise you'll...

Doesn't even show up.. It did on the bench and it was approved, but I removed it while I was troubleshooting.

The fact the peer list/path isn't populating makes me think its not communicating properly to the cloud controller / peer to peer network.

ZeroTier -- Not connecting / No peers [Solved]

我have the zt1 instance assigned to a loopback interface as the WAN interface IP is not a publicly routable address, the lo0 IP is. There are two linear planes in which you can transmit radio frequencies.. Horizontal and Vertical.. There's no real advantage to one or the other, you can use either just make sure the polarization of all antennas are the same.

Higher gain antenna on both ends? Re: rb333 as AP only. Nothing else

Thats what i have already but i also have a Hotspot server which of course has a dhcp server and firewall+fitler rules. Then reset the RB333 back to factory defaults.. and reconfigure as a standard bridge... seems pretty straight forward and simple.. /interface bridge add /interface bridge port add...

Re: Links across water

我'd go with 5.8.. shorter wavelengths, more bandwidth, less noise.. If it's in a marine type environment LOS doesn't sound like an issue.
